8 Quotes From Donald Trump and His Team That Make People Dislike Him

Former President of the United States Donald Trump has always been a controversial figure even before he stepped into the White House as the most powerful man in the country. Making statements that never fail to raise eyebrows, Donald Trump has never shied away from saying what’s on his mind — well, there are a number of occasions that he has taken things too far. Here are eight quotes from The Donald Trump team that have made people dislike him.

8. "They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

Referring to Mexicans, this quote from a campaign rally made by Trump is obviously racist. Tagging the entire race as a group inclined to commit heinous crimes, Trump has definitely set the bar low.

7. "My favourite part [of Pulp Fiction] is when Sam has his gun out in the diner and he tells the guy to tell his girlfriend to shut up. 'Tell that bitch to be cool. Say: Bitch be cool.' I love those lines."

A person has to be really tone-deaf in order to make such an offensive quote. Saying something so creepy in such a casual manner definitely raises a couple of red flags.

6. "Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what the hell is going on."

Attacking yet another community of people — this time those who practice the Muslim faith — Trump has not been quiet about his sentiments. Believing that Muslims are the source of the country’s problems, Trump really needs to do some serious reflections.

5. “Why are we having all these people from shithole countries coming here?"

Now, this quote definitely hits the bullseye as one of his most blatantly racist statements that have been recorded to date. Being his usual self-absorbed self, Trump has a lot to say about the immigrant conditions in the country.

4. "Now, the poor guy — you ought to see the guy: 'Uh, I don't know what I said. I don't remember.' "

At one of his rallies held in 2015, Donald Trump directly mocked the reporter Serge Kovaleski when the latter questioned his claims during the World Trade Center terrorist attack when Trump claimed that “thousands of people were cheering” in New Jersey when the buildings collapsed. Trump even doubled down on his insults by playing with his arms in an apparent mimicking of Kovaleski’s disabilities.

3. "After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military. Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail. Thank you."

Donald Trump has certainly not been a friendly face to the LGBT+ community as well. In a tweet he made on his currently suspended Twitter account, Trump had directly targeted military members who identified as transgender — citing government expenses as his primary reason, but we all know there’s more than meets the eye when it comes to The Donald.

2. "I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose voters."

This one ranks among the worst lines that Trump has ever said. Amidst the troubles of gun violence that the United States continues to struggle with even today, such violent remarks from a person who holds such power are plain disgusting.

1. "She does have a very nice figure... If [Ivanka] weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her."

Wow, just wow. We’re pretty sure that any person with the right mind would not make creepy comments about their own daughter. Well, coming from a man such as Donald Trump, there is literally nothing impossible with him — even when it comes to the lowest of lows.
