An Open Letter From Miss Teen Fresh Face America 2021

Truth be told my mom started me in pageantry because I had lost self esteem and confidence in myself after coming forward about a traumatic event. She wanted me to feel beautiful and felt pageants would be that doorway. I started pageantry at the beginning  2020, and have fell in love. Through that, a friend of mine tagged me in a post from the Fresh Faces Project and I began following. I absolutely love what Calynn stands for and the work she puts forth for the community and more. I began with her as a poster girl for the 2021 year and last year was chosen for Miss Teen Fresh Face America 2021.

I love arts, crafts, modeling and more. I'm constantly trying new ideas and have recently really gotten into drip paintings. I hope to one day not only make it further in modeling but as well become a traveling vet as I have a passion for animals as well.

I know personally what's its like to suffer a traumatic experience during child hood, and I want to use that to continue growing on my platform bringing awareness to Domestic and Sexual Violence. This is something near and dear to me and I hope to one day be able to start an awareness rally in my hometown area. I really hope to use what happened to me as a way to connect with others and help them realize they are not alone and they too can come forward.

I enjoy getting out in my community and those around me. I not only do community service with my crown, but through my classes at school (AJROTC and FFA) which promote community service but also my church and youth group. Giving back to the community is a big deal to me. So many face hardships that are unimaginable and you really don’t get a firm grasp on it until you, yourself have been out there and see it first hand. Just recently with my church youth group (Henderson UMC Youth Family) we went to Barnsley Ky a small area that had been ripped apart by the huge Quad State tornado. Even months after it hit, the devastation is still very un real. Ill never forget finding a baby shoe in the field we where cleaning. I hope to be able to start my own community service outreach in the near future.

Its truly more then an honor to be able to represent my crown, and be an inspiration to girls and women around me. Some of the best moments are being able to give encouragement to other little girls starting on their journey through pageantry. Its pushed me to be the best version of myself that I can be and I hope to continue on that journey and be able to show that it doesn’t matter where you come from or what you’ve been through, you can push forward and achieve your dreams!

Would love for you to follow me on my journey and the future ahead of Miss Teen Fresh Face America!
